What makes our meal kits so awesome?
Every meal kit purchased helps reduce waste. Kits come in reusable containers and food scraps are composted which effectively creates a circular system. Kits also help reduce emissions through less transportation and keeping more money in our local economy by sourcing from local farms including our own. You'll have more time to enjoy your stay. Our kits give guests the chance to experience all the amenities our retreat offers including a fully equipped cooking area. Kits are convenient too! Enjoy a truly local farm to table food experience.

Take in the stunning views from our fire pit area while enjoying this simple dinner. It’s our deluxe version of hotdogs, featuring local made sausages, a fresh baguette and gourmet pickles. (Paper, kindling and firewood & roasting sticks provided). Kit includes 4 sausages, 1 large baguette and a jar of pickles .

Meet Justine Gareau Loyer, the baker and owner of La Ruelle Bakery. This is the cutest French Canadian bakery tucked in a back alley of Nelson's vibrant downtown. The bakery offers premium sourdough breads, treats and lunch to go. With a unique open concept, you will get to meet the bakers team in action. Everything is made from organic flour too. Justine supplies all the amazing bread for our meal kits.

Michael Thiessen, of You Silly Sausage, makes gourmet, handmade sausages right here in the Kootenays full of flavour that you can feel good about eating! With no added: gluten, fillers, or preservatives their unique flavours and reinvented classics are not like sausages you have known before!
