Solita graduated with a BFA in Visual Communications from the Alberta College of Art and Design. She has over 20 years working as a creative professional on projects ranging from graphic design to trade show exhibits and retail merchandising to wayfinding signage. She considers herself to be a visual problem solver comfortable working in any medium. Many of the items in the shop are created by her. She is also a champion for the environment and has made it her mission to reduce pollution and waste.
Burke has a particular interest in fine wood working and finishing carpentry. He worked as an exhibit fabricator for over 20 years managing large museum and trade show projects. With a wide range of skill sets such as engine mechanics and welding, he delivers the highest level of craftsmanship and detail.

Hands down! The most popular product is our recycled license plate tray. We ship them around the world. Burke's family all work in the automotive industry and have been collecting them for decades. Most of the plates were collecting dust in boxes until we decided to transform them into value added products. We get over a million views per month on our Pinterest account!

We're proud to introduce Kootenay Tallow Bar, a local soap manufacturer with ideals that meet our sustainability standards.
Tallow has been used for centuries around the world in both skincare and food. Traditional cultures prized it for its stability, nutrient content, and its ability to protect and restore skin under harsh conditions.
While modern skincare leans heavily on seed oils and synthetics, Kkootenay Tallow Bar brings tallow back - for its unmatched nourishment, simplicity, and connection to local, regenerative resources.
